ABOUT ME

I came across the Bowen Technique back in 2006 when I took my 12 week old golden retriever, Zed, to my local puppy classes. It was noticed Zed's back leg was stiff when he walked and I was introduced  to husband and wife team Ron and Sally Askew, who run the European Guild of Canine Bowen Therapists.

At this time I had never heard of the Bowen Technique so set about trying to find out as much information as possible. The more I read the more I needed to know, I was hooked.

I took Zed to his appointment and after 6 or 8 Bowen moves and 40 minutes later Zed was trotting around the hall next to Ron with no sign of the stiff leg. I knew then and there that this was the career change I had been looking for. With the support and backing of my husband Mick, I gave up my job and set out on this fantastic journey.

I have become a fully qualified Human Bowen Therapist; acquired VTCT Level 3 diploma in Anatomy and Physiology; attended courses in first aid with the St. John Ambulance and have completed  an 18 month course  International Dog Behaviour and Training.  I am also qualified in Canine Bowen Technique and a member of European Guild of Canine Bowen Therapists.
